Gearing up for Birmingham...

This past week we have been straining ourselves, trying to get a new car ready for an upcoming race at Birmingham International Raceway. Birmingham is our home track and we have been racing there since 87' but weekly since 99'. The track is one of the oldest functioning speedways in America, and has seen the likes of some of the greatest stock car drivers to date.

We normally race in a division called Limited Sportsman, where we have won three championships, and was voted the "Most Popular Driver" a division that we have had a lot of success in. I'm not sure exactly how many races we have won, but it's somewhere in the forties.
However, we are stepping up in classes and will be trying our luck in the Late Model division. We tried our luck in this class for the past two years, but due to shallow pocket books, and out-dated equipment, we decided to step back down in the division we've had so much success in.

After several more victories in the Sportsman division, driving for Jerry Bradford of Alexander City, another opportunity has knocked on our door to drive a Late Model for Coastal Truck & Equipment. We jumped at the opportunity and are excited as ever too see where it may lead.

We would like to thank Xtreme Suspension Technology for all of the help along the way, Jerry Bradford for the countless hours and dedication, and Coastal Truck & Equipment for the opportunity to get back into the Late Model hunt.
